Tim Tam Slams

If you don’t know what Tim Tam Slams are, then you’re missing out. First things first, Tim Tams are Chocolate Creme Sandwich Cookies: Covered in an outer coating of chocolate fudge is a layer of chocolate creme sandwiched between two crispy biscuits. They are “Australia’s Favorite Cookie” compared to Oreo being “America’s Favorite Cookie.” If I had to choose between the two, I would definitely choose Tim Tams, hands down. They are made by Arnott’s in Australia, but here in America, Pepperidge Farm has decided make Tim Tams, which became available last month at Target. Oh yeah, and they’re only here till March. That means, GET THEM WHEN YOU CAN!, seriously. They’re delicious, and Tim Tams are even more delicious when you do a Tim Tam Slam. Tim Tam Slams are just a different way(THE BEST WAY) to eat them. Here are the directions along with some helpful visual aid.

*Oh just a side note. Be sure to get the chocolate creme flavor, not caramel.

HOW TO DO A TIM TAM SLAM:

1. Get Tim Tams from Target and open the Tim Tams Package

2. Get a hot cup of hot cocoa, coffee, tea, whatever you prefer. Aussies usually get Milo

3. Take a Tim Tam out of the package and bite opposite corners of the Tim Tam

4. Dip one corner of the Tim Tam into your drink and use the Tim Tam as a straw, sipping from the opposite corner. Once your drink reaches your mouth, eat the whole Tim Tam. It will melt in your mouth and will leave you in utter chocolaty bliss.

5. Enjoy.
